It’s also the reason The BIG TIME played for the biggest pop-wedding of 2002...the Jessica Simpson/Nick Lachey nuptial party at Barton Creek Resort. Since 1989, the transformation of this great band from being the "Original" Duck Soup Band into becoming "The Big Time", the group has continued to reach unparalleled pinnacles of success throughout Texas and the Southwestern United states. This 8-piece super group is made up of the finest musicians in Texas and has over the years, maintained the same roster of performers within the band, adding two fabulous vocalists to front the band...mighty Mike Cross and Julieanne Banks, (former lead singer with Rotel and The Hot Tomatoes). "The Big Time" has thrilled and entertained audiences of all ages with its big sound, powerful vocals and high-energy shows. The Texas Inaugural Gala, The Texas Governor's VIP party, The Texas Rose Festival, The Great Texas Balloon Race, numerous major corporate events and fund raising galas throughout the country are but a few of the types of events "The Big Time" has performed for.
